Can I eat off a Titanic reproduction plate?

A friend bought me one of the 3rd class dinner reproduction dinner plates from the Titanic Exhibition in Las Vegas. It doesn't say anything about being dishwasher- or microwave-safe on the back; it feels like ceramic or something similar. There's a small logo in the center of the plate that feels raised and would really be my only concern. I'd really like to eat off of this if possible but don't want to damage it or make myself sick! Thanks in advance, I know this is probably a silly question.
